Most sporting atheletes do PED's to increase endurance, not muscle mass or strength, in some instances you can recover faster. My cousin was once having double vision in his left eye, i forgot the reason, and he was taking steroids to help regenerate something within some part of his brain to correct it, which was crazy to me.

so muscle mass isnt as important as endurance when it comes to PED's.

If GBP has ties to USADA and "connections" as some have suggested, it makes perfect sense.

That's how I feel about Arum, Top Rank, and the NSAC.

It would make sense if team mayweather wasnt willing to use any agency but the USADA, but they backed off from them and were willing to compromise and still got the cold shoulder. They were willing to use another agency, what did they do, "buy off" every 3rd party juice testing company in the world? come on.

The USADA has been around for so long and all of the sudden, they are on this corruption microscope with virtually no basis or reality to that accusation, its become sort of an ACORN for pacfans these days.

No, I actually don't see all that many people speaking in absolutes. I'm not doing that. I'm saying "innocent until proven guilty". Many Floyd fans (not all) are saying "guilty until proven innocent".

You wanna talk about changing the rules and how arum did that? How about Arum forcing the NSAC to change the rule about 8oz gloves for margarito/cotto, a rule that used to apply to fighters fighting from 135 and down, they changed the rules to 10oz recently and arum forced their hand threatening to move the fight out of vegas if 10oz gloves were used, arum basically forced the commission to change the rule back, and it wasnt for the "betterment of the sport" it was so there would be a higher chance for a knockout.

So even when the NSAC had a rule that had been mandated by the commission already, Arum seflishly changed it and the NSAC gave in. If they bend on that, what else do they bend for the right price?

Yeah, I'm saying it doesn't look good. Plain and simple. Manny can argue all he wants, we can use logic to defend, to attack, to criticize - millions of dollars comes from not just the casual sports fan, and boxing fans, that buy this fight but from those that become interested in the sport and buy future fights because of it.

So, in simple business terms, allowing Manny to appear su****ious doesn't do anyone favors. I think Floyd would look just as bad if the situations were reversed.

144-149 = 5 lbs difference in three years.

The real difference is nowadays he isn't cutting so much weight. For the second Marquez fight, for example, Pacquiao would be cutting around 20 pounds (possibly more) from his walk-around weight. Less starvation appears to make Pacquiao a much better fighter. Is this abnormal? Personally, I don't think it's any cause for concern.
while i agree with what you are saying there are other thing he could be doing like Blood Boosting

You are using numbers to make a point, which I get, and your point is taken. But let me ask you this: How does a extremely lean man at 144 make his way down to 129? Secondly, how does a naturally lean man lose 16 pounds leading up to a fight and not be decimated. How could he even train? Do you know what it takes for a naturally lean (6-8% body fat) man to lose 20 pounds of water and fat that he does not have. It is unheard of, naturally. Most natural men can only make it down to about 6% body fat before the body starts to fight back. Bodybuilders are usually in the 2-4% range, and they of course are drugged beyond belief. Most fighters that step on the scale looking "dried out" are at this 5-6% number, extremely lean. Also, no real performance issues during this 20 pound drop...weird.

So, please, and I am not being critical, how in the world did Pacquiao do it? It is the equivalent of Roy Jones, when he fought at 160, looking very lean and muscular, being able to make 147...simply unnatural.

Pacquiao at 149 looked very lean and muscular. I suppose who could be "out" of shape at around 160...think about that...does that seem consistent with this "little guy" everybody knew just a year or so ago. It seems su****ious.
