First of all, that was a welterweight fight with a catch weight clause written in.

Last time I checked, catch weights weren't weight classes.

The catch weight was written in to the contract, as was the penalty clause.

Golden Boy has been bad for the sport these past couple months. Shoving that lame rematch between Diaz and Malinaggi down our throats and then making sure that a quitter gets rewarded with a TV date without winning a couple other fights on a smaller platform like a lot of other fighters do. And who can forget about that robbery a few weeks ago where Guzman got a nice candy bar for a gift?

Golden Boy is trying to shove another fight that doesn't need to happen between Hatton and JMM down our throats and you suckers are just letting them pawn this mismatch off on us. Golden Boy has also tried to keep Shane Mosley as a yes man for their company as well so Mayweather can keep avoiding him just because Hatton and DLH had a bigger fan base.

Paulie got robbed the first fight, the forums blew up about it. If it's a fight people want to see, how is it bad for the sport?

Pac is the king as simple as that and he should not be push around by the challenger by so many wishes. First, the venue, the size of the gloves and the bloody test. MP agreed then the next day an addition etc. Pacquiao has nothing to prove but the father and son and GBP has the burden of proof. You prove in court that MP is really a user. I agree with you on this one. You forgot to mention that the suit settlement should have a big impact on their wallet. The case will not go to trial and will be settled out of court.
