I was interested in your take right up until you claimed to know what weight Mayweather wanted to fight at, and then claimed he wasn't "immediately receptive" to the welterweight limit.
Also, you're aware that he entered these negotiations "above the law" and felt he could come in at any weight he felt like?
Privy to all of those closed door things, are you?
You have no idea. All of the above is completely out of your ass. How do you write an article presenting those things as facts?
From that point you go right off the tracks showing you're biased on the issue.
Manny Pacquiao's ten Million dollar pentalty clause is "Insane to unrealistic", but Mayweather's completely off base for asking for additional blood tests, and then being flexible about it?
You see where this is going? What a completely biased take.
Floyd came in 2 pounds above 144 for the Marquez fight because the contract had a stipulation that allowed it. Why? Because it was negotiated in.
Just like the current sides are now caught up n-e-g-o-t-i-a-t-i-n-g.
Lastly, if this fight falls apart, Floyd isn't the only one with unattractive opponent options. That is unless you're thrilled at the thought of Pacquiao vs. Malignaggi / Foremen.
BOTH fighters hurt the sport if this fight falls through, BOTH lose a TON of money, and BOTH have poor options moving forward.
Again, your take was completely biased.
PS: If it's true that Arum / Top Rank are now 100% "Normal NSAC rules or nothing" they're complete hypocrites. 48 hours ago they released a PRESS RELEASE saying they'd be willing to accept a 3rd party blood test if it wasn't the USADA. It was a PRESS RELEASE. Now they're going back on that?
Its not GBP fault that the Pac/Roid issue got out.
If Pac just said yes..we dont have a story.,
Did you understand the thread? The Pac/roid issue got out even before the 3 promoters TP, GB and Mays. began to talk. Sr started shooting his mouth off right after the cotto fight.
