We all know Pac is not any of the names above but either was any of the names above UNTIL they got in the ring. The list will continue. Its just like Mayweather explains, before the fight they are picked to be the man to beat him. Once its over they people tend to forget and pretend like it was supposed to happened that way and the other guy never had a chance, JMM for example.

That was a joke in itself to the people that thought he had any chance at any weight agasint Mayweather. If Pac and JMM fought again people would see that Pac would win but struggle doing it....
r u saying floyd is unbeatable? pac combines speed power and movement which is devastating, floyd has not fought anyone remotely close to pacquiao so all you floyd can talk smack about floyds greatness but we have not seen him agains a fighter like pac.

Corley and Judah were DOMINATED..what are you talking about dude? Have you seen those fights without a bias?

Hatton was undefeated in his career and a champ at 140, that wanted Floyd's beat at 47...Oscar was the CHAMP at 154 and Floyd went up there and outboxed him for his title. Baldo was the Lineal Champ although he had a bunch of loses. So you are complaining but Floyd beat the champ at 154, the champ at 147 and the undefeated Hatton.

      quit rewriting history
Also, Baldomir hadn't lost in nine years and just reeled off two wins in other fighters backyards, one on the cards and one by KO so it was only right to see if he was that inspirational story.

People won't give credit to Floyd until he's five to ten years out of the game. He's just that much better than the competition and he trains like no other and it shows.

These kids make it to easy. You can tell they just started watching boxing. I bet none of those fools even watched the fights I mentioned. It's sad what this forum has turned into.

And likewise-when has Pacquiao fought someone like Floyd?

EXACTLY!!! Roach has to figure out something else rather than trying to smother Floyd with a heavy work rate. Many have tried and many have failed. And Ariza shoud just worry about how he's going to beat these new drug tests!!!

            • The thing with Boxing is you can't just solely rely on what each guy is skillfully capable of doing. There's other intangibles that play into who wins or loses a fight. It's easy to say the following:

"Floyd's defense is too good for Pacquiao"
"Manny's going to overwhelm Floyd with speed"
"JMM isn't a KO puncher and hurt Pacquiao"
"Castillo threw a lot of punches and arguably beat Mayweather"

It's easy to say these things because it's easy for us to grasp. But the beauty about Boxing is also the unexpected. Though now people will say Pacquiao had easy opponents with Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto, a lot of you were singing a different tune prior to each of those fights. Even with the Cotto fight many of you thought Pacquiao couldn't handle Cotto's size and strength, and he by far overcame each of those obstacles. So being that Pacquiao beat arguably the #1-2 WW, now all of a sudden Cotto is a meatbag with no talent? Where do you finally draw the line and say, "You know what, Pacquiao is the real deal".

Floyd Mayweather is one of the best fighters of our generation, but so is Pacquiao. Either guy can win this fight. I think beyond the defense, speed, power, accuracy, this fight is going to come down to who really wants it more.

Pacquiao was at least a 3-1 favorite in his fights from Morales III to Cotto. The only fight he wasn't the favorite to win was the DLH fight and the rematch with JMM was split.

And BTW, the first round of the Cotto fight was given away. Cotto got that **** because Pacquiao gave it to him, it was part of the game plan to get him to commit, then punish his flaws. You don't know **** if you can't even see this.
Nothing against Pinoys but you know its true. Pac fans (mostly filipino) manage to be the most outspoken and colorful fans but at the same time they dont have much knowledge at all in the sport.

Can you imagine a loud mouthed public speaker talking about a subject he damn well knows nothing about? It happens here all the time..

Why dont the Pac Stans just come out and say it..

Pac will win because he is filipino..

I actually wouldnt mind if they said that. At least they wouldn't try to pass off like they have some kind of insight from the 4 years of boxing they've watched. Its an insult to the sport i love to see all these stans come out to back this "crude brawler" and claim he is ATG status.

Laughable and insulting at the same time.
