No one expected the fights against Cotto and Hatton to be anywhere near as easy for him as they were; and almost everyone expected both fights to be very competitive.



The rematch with Castillo was close for the first nine rounds or so. Then Mayweather won the last few rounds overwhelmingly. I didn't say it was close overall, just that it was close until Mayweather pulled away at the end. And their first fight was not only close, but many thought Castillo deserved the decision.

In the Oscar fight, Mayweather pulled away at the end, and it was a clear win for him; but in most people's opinions he was losing at the half way point, and in the second half of the fight, Oscar gassed and his workrate went down. I still only had Floyd winning by about three rounds, so it was far from being one-sided.

I could understand your statement for Cotto, but not Hatton ha. The only reason I started paying attention to that fight (since I knew Pac was eating Hatton alive) was because of the Sr.-Roach feud.

The rematch with Castillo was never close. He was outboxed throughout the fight. Unfortunately, the scoring for the DLH fight was terrible as well. It was promoted by Oscar. Did anyone watch the Guzman-Funeka fight? GBP likes to ruin fights on scorecards.

Ariza has said that Pacquiao has "no idea" what he is taking.

The activities within the Pacquiao camp is very unusual. Several people have noted this. One of those people is Lou DiBella, and LDB has a lot of credibility with me.

It is noteworthy that Ariza never talks about LDB's academic background the way he talks about other people.

Most people posting stuff on BoxingScene conveniently forgot about the article posted about Roach's statements about Manny and the steroids issue.

First, Ariza says that Manny doesn't know what he is taking. WTF

Then Roach says he will not allow anyone to take blood from Manny six weeks prior to the fight because it will affect him mentally. WTF

No one EVER gave an intelligent response to both of those comments. And I'm POSITIVE that no one will come up with a reasonable response to these ****** ASS comments made by Ariza and Roach.

Even the casual boxing fan who has NO BAIS to either fighter will think something is fishy if they hear comments like that.

But Pac fans fall apart and go into convulsions in defending Ariza's and Roach's comments by disrespecting everyone who brings the comments up.

Hey Pac fans, it's not us that made those ******ed comments, it's your boys camp that are putting it out. Let go of Pac's **** for at least 5 seconds and post something intelligent about your people's comments.

cuz so far pac has at least lost twice to fighters with strong rt hands which is exactley what floyd is plus hes twenty times faster in the footspeed and handspeed department than anyone pac has faced before, cotto demonstrated in the first round that nothing has changed since pacs "improvement" hes still very vulnerable to boxing a jab and right hand and movement thats why he should be concerned pac and his whole yeam are waaaay underestimating mayweather
