Dont know a lot about drug testing but am pretty sure that if i take any drug it would clear up before 6 weeks, Am looking for more reason why Roach wouldnt want a test done on Manny 6 weeks before the fight.

i'm not offended so you don't have to apologise but here's some quotes i cut-and-paste from The Stone Roses about the weight issue:

"HAHHAHAH.....why is roach crying about the weight???? didn't he force Cotto to put his welterweight title on the line at 145???? **** roach that lying SOB

HAHHAHHAH....you ****ing ignorant ****...i knew that i was just mking the arguement that if pacquiao can force cotto to fight at 145 then mayweather should have the right to force pacquiao to take an extra test"

so i replied the way i did. obviously all these is in reference to what happened to Marquez-Mayweather fight when PBF came in more than the agreed weight. are we clear?

Okay i get you now, You were not actually talking about the Pacquiao-Mayweather scenario but the Pac-cotto weight thing...Gotcha, So am sorry for the confusion, I thought you were asking why people are critising Roach for wanting both may/pac to come under 147....Once again sorry.

Is drug can only be effectively check 6 weeks before the fight? If the answer is yes, then pac should subject himself to blood test, period! But if not then why force him to that day of blood test while you can adjust to another day, huh? What ever the reason or effects on Pac physically or mentally is immaterial if blood test is needed badly, but if not then just respect his reasoning or belief!

Maybe he want an indeed drug free fighters and they should be tested 2 days or 1 day before the fight. If the May camp insists to be taken 6 weeks before the fight then something fishy on their camp because May Jr might take drugs after the testing 6 weeks before the fight.

That's it! If Pac was taking drug enhancement that would affect his performance why should he fought Cotto in 145 not in 147lbs? If pac taking this illegal drugs I think he can even fight at 154lbs!

I'm telling you man. Don't know why people give Roach and
Manny passes for what they are doing and give Floyd so much
hell for what he is doing. I think the difference between Cotto
and Floyd is that Floyd is way smarter than Cotto and puts business
first instead of his pride and handles things efficiently while Cotto
just did everything Arum and Roach said to get a big fight. Basically,
Cotto let himself get taking advantage of and it's not Pac's fault
because Cotto agreed to everything but that fight should have
been at 147. After seeing the fight, I still believe Pac would have
beat Cotto because technically and mentally Cotto is a midget
and Freddie Roach combined with Pac was too much for Cotto
technically. At the end of the day, Floyd is going to get what
he wants. So far he got the weight at 147 and he will get the
fight in Vegas. Like a wise man once told me, 90% business
                      and 10% talent.
