I agree….it’s funny, we are being led to believe that there is a weight dispute, or a discussion of penalties for coming in overweight, that is holding the fight up….

When in actuality, it’s starting to sound like camp pacquiao’s refusal to adhere to the Olympic-style drug testing stimulation, may be what’s actually holding the fight up. I don’t get it, it poses no physical risks, and if camp pacquiao is really clean, there should be NO refusal, at any time to be tested…

Think about it, if you’re applying for a job, and you have to take a drug test, will that MENTALLY affect you, if you know you don’t do drugs? Don’t think so….

Roach will not let them take blood from Manny 6 weeks before the fight???
Isn't that the most important time to get a testing or is it just me???

What you bring to a fight is a result of how you train. If you take substances for training, you are still cheating because your body will be rock solid come fight night but it will not be from your own energy.
I think boxing should start doing these types of tests on a regular bases. Boxing is not like running faster than the other guy but about beating the other guy off his senses. Boxing is dangerous so cheating of any form should not be tolerated.
Now, I'm not saying Paquiao is a cheat but I'm saying the drug test should be done in a way that will give better test results.

i think youre the one who's really funny...making comparison of a normal job with boxing is a kind of dumb......as what roach said they are willing to take
the test a month and a half before, although it will not affect manny physically but mentally maybe.....and on weight issue, what roach said is..,,,you have to follow the signed contract and i dont see any problem with that...and one thing they didnt force dlh or cotto to make those weight they signed the conract weight so it means they agree....i hope you understand how importanht the signed contract is.....and being a man you have to follow the rules........not to make overweight if you wanted.....

I don't understand the weight thing. Unless, Floyd is playing hard ball to get a weight advantage or something, which I still don't get because PBF is great at 147. 147 should be the weight period. I don't believe pac is on the juice but it is somewhat su****ious that they wouldn't agree to the blood test. 6 weeks is ample time to get his "mentality" back up to par... and like the Coach said Floyd had Grant gloves not reyes.. I think he had Reyes in the ODLH fight because ODLH demanded it.

Sorry, guys. This is the first time I'm posting from my blackberry. Not sure how this will look. Sitting in an airport.

I don't know what Roach is trying to hide -if anything- but his statement that they don't take blood during the Olympics is wrong. The amount taken is tiny and has zero physical effect on the athlete.

How can it affect Manny "mentally"?!

                There is something odd here.

He's right about Roger... I got respect for Mayweather Jr. and Senior but Roger is really a disgrace at times... and can't stand him either
