Who has defeated more fighters in their PRIME: Mayweather or Pacquiao?

Styles make fights... Corrales would have taken off Barrera's head. Corrales is no slouch... he connected against anyone he fought (exception being Floyd)... nothing against Barrera but this would have been bad for him...
JMM = Castillo... Castillo in his prime was never beaten he only lost on cuts... the only reason he has a bad rep is because of the weight thing. Marquez probably a slight better then Castillo.
Hatton = Hatton
Cotto can't even be compared to Genaro... they never fought in the same weight class... but if you want to at the time Genaro was considered the best at the weight and Cotto probably the best at WW
Diaz = Baldomir
Ledwabba, Sasakul = I don't know them enough to dare to compare them to someoneComment

I think the thread is about accomplishments.
It's not a head to head matchup mate.
Side notes:
Barrera is 126-135 fighter
Corrales is 130-147 fighter
They are not the same size
Castillo was stopped by Cesar Sotto a career Featherweight. I can say Pac never lost in his prime.
Corrales is more 130-140Comment

The prime Barrera, JMM, Morales and Cotto who Pac fought even if they are past in their prime will still beat any fighter in Floyd resume if they are in the same weight classes. That's why most boxer experts (they are not same races with pac) chosen Pac in higher atg/legacy status than Floyd. I believe them because their words have more weight than Floyd fans who are bs on their own fighter.
The Morales who Pacquiao fought is not beating the Corrales or Jose Luis Castillo that Mayweather fought. Barrera wouldn't have beaten beaten Corrales either. I would favor the JMM pac fought over any of them and Cotto over any welterweight Mayweather has fought.Last edited by Calilloyd; 12-17-2009, 03:09 AM.Comment

morales, barrera, de la hoya were all past their prime...diaz is a nobody....cotto was plastered by margarito and had a war with clottey before pac decided to fight him and hatton was coming off a damaging loss to mayweather......mayweather's opponents have been fresher and in their prime....diego, zab, de la hoya at 154, undefeated hattonComment

again.. being prime is subjective.
so can we say Pac, having already lost 3 times, (downed twice -i may be wrong) is beyond PRIME?
Pac is beating the hell out of his recent opponents and yet he is not PRIME.
His opponents, having lost some fight is not prime?
Can please someone please shed light?Comment
