Get your facts straight KIDs im a member of boxing forums since 2002. Pacquiao is MAB's 1st fight under GDP. It was announced August 2003 the same month PACLAND was created.

Mayweather loses every poll on boxingscene unless its negative, but this is one he should win IMO. Not to mention hes dethroend 2 undefeated p4p fighters while they were p4p.
Mayweather has faced more prime fighters but there are too many people here who could not be objective if their lives depended on it. There was an earlier poll that placed Pernell whiaker against Manny Pacquioa. There was a large number of people voting for Pacquiao with comments like "Pacquiao would knock out Whitaker easily" or "Whitaker was never that good.He had no offense"...That's what you have to deal with here unless you go to the history forum.

Agreed, floyd diego was a pick em I believe. But since then floyds never fought a guy at close to 50/50 odds since. Great win. I want more of those, I wanted all these fighters at 1 point that would have closer odds then ur normal mayweather fight: spadafora, stevie johnston, tszyu, mosley, viv harris, margarito, cotto, winky. These were all guys that we in floyds division. How many names can you pick that pac could have fought that would have similar close odds?

Odds were posted and I put a little on pac for value.

Fair enough, close enough to his prime. But the perception of the challenge is what makes it special. Pac was suppose to get walked over, and looking back he wasn't near his prime either as we've learned.

You can't tell me that Floyd couldnt have fought fighters that would have made more competetive fights, hence closer odds. Isn't that peoples biggest beef with Floyd!?

At welterweight, yes. But now that Pacquiao is on a tear and is the early favorite with 8-5 odds, Mayweather is in that type of fight now.

Are you sure he fought Barrera on 3 week notice? Man I don't remeber that. My memory is fucking up right now. You sure you don't mean Ledwaba fight being in 3 week notice? You might be right and I am just tired that I can't remember.

That's BS. Find me a sportsbook taking pac as the favourite. I can name you bowmans, pinnacle, 5dimes that have mayweather as a 6/5 and 7/5 fav.

anyone forget the signifigance of prime vs Level of competition

I think Angel Manfredy was in his prime before Floyd beat him, But that doesnt make him tougher competition than Cotto.

and what primes are ****ing talking about ? Prime fighters like Bruseless and Lucero? or previous champs only? what?

You have no right to even talk about objectivity Because obviously you're not.
