Taylor against Abraham was just there just so he could last 12 rounds, He barely threw his right hand because he feared getting hit back and maybe KO and when he feel he got away thinking he has last 12 rounds he open up abit towards the end of the 12th round and blam he got KO.

Taylor a live opponent??? I guess Lacy is still a live opponent then no offense.
I agree with what you say here. I've never seen Jermain so conservative with the right hand in a fight like he was against Abraham. And Arum is vile.

Damn, I have a lot of respect from DiBella.
I also have a lot of respect for JT
I like the guy way too much to see something serious happen to him. If he keeps on this road he WILL end up like Gerald McClellan.

Let's hope not. I wish him the best in this fight.

I don't understand why Taylor is doing this. And I'm wondering who gave him the nod to continue other than himself. DiBella did the right thing.

            Lou did the right thing.

            Taylor needs to retire.

Essentially I think classy title, and classy comments from Di Bella.

I can't help in this day and age (probably paranoia mostly from too many cunts being around) that his subconscious is predicting a KO, serious public/media criticism, and mass loss of reputation and earnings. In-evitable.

I do think Taylor should hang them up, but his pride will not let him. I do not believe a word that Dibella says. We all know he wanted to slip Allan Green in the tournament if Jermain could not go. Seeing how that will not happen I think Dibella just thinks Jermain is not worth his time anymore. Dibella can eat crap. Taylor's heart is huge, thats why im rooting for him to beat Ward and silence the critics, hopefully.

This press release was to set up an announcenment from JT about his retirement. He will not fight on. Great man, great career. Just time to hang them up.

If Taylor really had his heart in the sport he would still have a good career ahead of him. His boxing skills are still amongst the best in the Super Six, but he just can't maintain it for 12 rounds.
