Arum would have driven Taylor to the ring himself, Or he would have use one of his fighter in his promotional company to give them a better edge by having them fight a shot taylor.

I doubt that what you say is true about Arum.

As for Taylor, he certainly shows NO SIGN of being "shot". All he's shown is a capability of being susceptible to getting himself KO'd atthe very end of a 12 rd fight.

During the fight itself, he's a "live" prospect, and shows no signals of being "shot".

This definitely shows class by Lou. And I hope that if Jermain does win, he shows homage to this move. Many of Taylor's fans are cautioning him against fighting again. But though he got beat bad by Abraham, it was a competitive fight. We have all heard so many times how styles make fights, and Taylor is the only guy in the last decade to beat Hopkins, and he did it twice. Maybe he'll be more than a match for Ward... you never know. But if he does get stopped in this next fight, he certainly has to call it quits...

Arum should be doing the same thing for Cotto. Props to Dibella for doing this. But I wonder if he would've taken this action if Martinez didn't perform well against P-Will. And of course Berto is in the line of fire against Mosley, but he will still be somewhat marketable if he puts up a good fight in a loss.

promoters normally try and suck as much money out of their fighters as posible so to see dibella walk away like this when jermain could still make him money shows he cares for jemain's health
