We all know he wanted to slip Allan Green in the tournament if Jermain could not go. Seeing how that will not happen I think Dibella just thinks Jermain is not worth his time anymore. Dibella can eat crap. Taylor's heart is huge, thats why im rooting for him to beat Ward and silence the critics, hopefully.
Your post is misguided mate, Dibella would make more money with Jermaine Taylor in the tournament than with Allan green in it, He genuinely cared about Taylor here and he would be losing out on big money by walking away, We boxing fans often critise promoters and i think this is one gesture where i wouldnt. By walking away Lou loses money

That should tell Jermain Taylor something that his promoter just left because of this. Let it go man.

Taylor should hang it up and props to DiBella for going public on this but he should prob take small portion of the blame as Taylor has not had a tune up fight since winning the MIddleweight title, he's had one tough fight after another. You could point to Lacy to being a tune up I guess but look at his record since Hopkins 2, it's nothing but name fighters on there. It's admirable but foolish.

After Taylor's previous 4 fights:
Pavlik (L KO7)
Pavlk (L UD12)
Lacy (W UD12)
Froch (L KO12)
Dibella and Haymon sent Taylor into the lion's den with an undefeated Arthur Abraham, who has a reputation for being a murderous puncher.
What other promoter/manager does that with a marquee fighter?
Taylor's handlers have used him as a chip in a game of high-stakes poker for the last four years, ******** away his career, win or lose, in order to secure the biggest paychecks as quickly as possible. They never treated him like a fighter who could have a long career if brought along correctly, never picking him up and getting him back on his feet when he stumbled, never allowing him an easy night to work out his kinks in the ring. They treated him like an investment, and one they wanted to cash out sooner rather than later.
And now, all of a sudden, Dibella and Haymon grow a conscience. It seems their investment was never theirs all along; he's his own man in control of his own destiny. And regardless of their newfound guilt for putting him at risk these past couple years, they cannot control the beast. Their experiment is his career, and he's not ready to pull the plug just yet. Unfortunately for LDB and Haymon, their greed got Taylor into a deal where he is guaranteed million$ for three fights, win or lose - a situation he would never be in if it weren't for the tournament they signed him up for. And now they expect him to walk away from it.
