Well i feel Morales is just ahead of Barrera, but Barrera isn't behind to far. You cant talk about Morales without talking about Barrera. Just like Ali-Frazier, Gatti-Ward, Hearns-Leonard, etc.
Marquez made his own Legacy but it isn't as big as the two mexicans.Comment

i agree.
i use to hate morales and love barrera.
as the years gone on it's changed though.
i don't like how barrera handled himself in his last few fights. seemingly trying to find ways out of a fight.
morales on the other , even way past his best , still tried to give it his all.
i had barrera edging out morales after barrera won the rubber match but a past prime morales beating a pacquiao on a roll is better than anything barrera has ever done.
i ranked them as follows:
1. morales
2. barrera
3. marquez
this post brings a tear to my eye...you have finally seen the lightComment

I'm getting a little off subject by keeping JMM in this thread, but just look at how each JMM and Barrera did against Juarez. Barrera got a gift decision in the first fight, and won the rematch fighting scared with tampered gloves and then JMM dominated him in one fight. JMM > Barrera. The JMM-Barrera fight was close, but JMM had to move up in weight to fight him when he didn't have any fights at 130 and probably beat him while Barrera had his skinned boxing gloves on.Comment

tua, morales avoided a fight with marquez, too much risk.
but, he did feel inclined to fight him if it made $ sense.
tua, let me ask you, do you have any idea what money terms morales's team and bob arum(loved morales, barely remembered he had marquez) offered to marquez?Comment

I honestly think marquez would beat morales. Also marquez outperformed Barerra against ALL common opponents. Truth be told without his win over a past it Hamed who didn't even train for the fight Barerras resume would not have been that good.Comment
