now if a guy doesn't try to win a fight and just in there trying to survive , i find it worse than quitting even if they make it to the final bell.
Damn straight. I didn't see Erik or Kostya dance and run away.
When they had enough, they stopped.

Erik got decked and still went for it knowing the end result, and Kostya took the microphone after the 11th and said to 20k plus people in Ricky land that the better man won.

They didn't go in there to "survive".

Exactly, although I would take prime Morales over pretty much anyone from 122-126 in history (yes, I am aware of the Barrera fights).

That first fight is so great. I thought Barrera won it, but Morales was definitely a bad ass back in the day.

morales actually offered marquez a fight.

                marquez asked for more money.

morales took on pacquiao instead. the rest is history.

ESPN Classic needs to show other Arguello fights. I swear it's always Arguello Pryor.

They should show the Mancini fight and others more.

I rank Morales over that glove skinning dirty fighting ****sucker everytime one of these threads come up. I rank JMM over Barrera too. Morales should be #1 though because he has the best resume.
