I'm sure that the Barrera fanboys are simply winding me up here. They know of my dislike that I have for Marcy and are coaxing me into giving him credit.I have yet to see somebody state a convincing argument as to how Morales was a greater fighter than Barrera.Let's be perfectly honest here,Barrera beat Morales convincingly during their first fight,he outfought Morales and capped it off with a knockdown and there is no possible way to give credit to Morales for beating Barrera in their first meeting because he never did.Their second fight was crap and as I remember Barrera was giving the first half rounds of the fight to Morales and rallied strong, now perhaps Morales deserved the decision but it was nowhere near as bad as their first fight. The really is no debate about their third fight as Barrera won it clearly.
Both me are overrated but there was a clear victor in their trilogy and the superior fighter emerged and that was Marcy Antonita Barrera.
I agree, and i dont understand why anyone could argue.Comment

Surprised how many see Morales as a greater fighter because I can't see it myself.Barrera has the overall better resume but Morales the better at 122(even though I felt he lost to Barrera in their first fight).
Perhaps it's because Morales is the more likable of the two and didn't make excuses for his losses, but that shouldn't play a part in their accomplishments as fighters.Comment

kostya didnt quit vs Hattoni think there are times when a boxer can/should quit to be honest.
if a guy goes out and tries to win the fight but he can't and he's taken a lot of punishment. no shame in quitting.
like arguello against pryor or kostya against hatton for example.
now if a guy doesn't try to win a fight and just in there trying to survive , i find it worse than quitting even if they make it to the final bell.
