Especially when Maidana fought someone with a 22-5-1 record in his last fight, and in Argentina, when HBO were offering him a good money fight in the States against the likes of Campbell, which he turned down. You can't defend Maidana after that, it's just pathetic. Salita >>> Gonzalez.
yeah.. i got over that a lil bit... but what I really ment! is that at least marcos seems to be willing to climbg the mountain the hard way!!!
to be honest with you... I expect amir to get better and better because hes really an athletic guy... but as for now...It seems like he lost a lil bit of confidence in him self.. and risking his future BIG PAYDAYS with a rentless guy like marcos. .is not a smart move....
if they ever fight.. I think i will pick amir on points.... but this battle...was won by team marcos.. because amir didnt handle it very well or at least his team.... just by reading the title.. it makes you think that he will run away from marcos if he have to...
but as for your post....
yes i went a lil bit overboard on that!!
just to fire things up

If Khan ducks Maidana then I will feel very unhappy for him. It will leave him less true boxing fans although I'll stand by him on this one. I know he can ebat Maidana and IMO he will be sparring with Pac so hopefully he can get some orthodox partners like Porter in when he is getting ready for his fight to beat up Maidana.

Hopefully Khan will fight Maidana. I don't see Khan fighting Hatton or Marquez. I could see him fighting the Malignaggi-Diaz winner, but I don't know why he would avoid Maidana. I felt Maidana beat Kotelnik, and Khan shut him out. If he's going to campaign in the states any of those three guys would be a good first fight and I'm sure HBO would put any of them on, but the bottom line is Maidana is the number 1 contender so Khan needs to fight him.

Kessler is still the favourite to beat Froch, although the odds have narrowed a lot since Kessler's loss.
Most people think a very green Dirrell deserved to get the decision against Froch, and Dirrell would be the favourite if they ever rematch.
And if he's hot property, why do Sky and all the other mainstream UK broadcasters refuse to touch his fights?

I honestly believe that khan wouldn't mind getting in the ring with maidana. But, noway in hell will frank warren let that happen. If it did happen, i'd be putting all my money on a first round KO.
Also, maidana is unknown and a fight with hatton, marquez or the winner of diaz-malignaggi are all lower risk and would line uncle franks pockets alot more.
Maidana/Khan will never happen!

I'm torn on this subject. I wanna see Khan-Maidana so bad and it would be the perfect undercard fight for Pacquiao-Mayweather but then again I think it is a bit unfair of the WBA to force another opponent onto Khan straight after making a mandatory defence. He should be given the chance to make a voluntery defence next then he can fight Maidana in the summer, then he has no excuse for ducking Maidana if he does.Last edited by AndyShitHot; 12-10-2009, 02:21 PM.
