Khan has earned the right to fight the big money fights. We as boxing fans need to understand these boxers work their asses off to get to where they are. They put their health, careers, and even lives on the line every time they step into the ring. If you are going to face a big puncher, get paid for it, or fight someone you will get paid good for. Maidana hasn't proven himself yet to face a Khan. Khan should duck him for more money elsewhere, then if Maidana proves him self and makes more of a name, they should fight. This way Khan and Maidana both get a good pay day. Khan could whoop his ass and put him out of the picture too. Both fighters should wait. I know we all hate waiting but money dictates the sport and there's nothing we can do about it. Bitching and whining gets us no where. On the other hand, this forum wouldn't be here if it weren't for that. lol

What has he done to prove he deserves a big money fight. Mosely isnt even getting a money fight why should Khan? It doesnt matter who you face regardless of their strong suits. Oh no he hits to hard you have to pay me more. oh no hes too fast pay me more. Maidana has beat Ortiz which is better than any opponent Khan has ever faced with the exception of Barerra. So really because he wants to get paid he should Cherry pick?

Just because Khan beat Kotelnik doesn't mean he instantly beats Maidana.

Maidana deserves his shot, he is his mandatory plus he is durable, applys pressure and has power.

Big money fights? What has he done to earn big money fights? Got a decision over Barerra? Which was horrible. Does he not understand the only thing people think about when they hear Khan is his ass getting lit up. In my eyes he hasnt earned big money fights. Myabe he thinks he needs one because as soon as the big punchers come in he career is over. Its obvious his chin will not get better actually might be worse. Your point is well taken and I agree with you when looking at it from a boxing perspective. With Khan its different. He has a huge fallowing in England now that Hatton is out of the picture. He's had much more exposure and will be recognized more than Maidana if a fight is signed with a top fighter. The money is there for Khan for those reasons. Whether they are good or bad reasons, they are there and should make them work for him from a business point of view. He will collide with Maidana down the road in a much bigger fight if Maidana proves himself more.

What was disgraceful about his fight against Dirrell? Ok, the decision wasn't the best, but it was Froch who at least tried to make the fight. The difference is Carl knows he isn't a great techician, but what he lacks in talent he makes up with heart and determination. I know for a fact he wouldn't duck a mandatory.

Yes Froch may have lost fans recently, but I'll still support him because you know what, he actually cares about his fans. He tries to make the hardest fights possible, against the most dangerous opponent possible and for me that is what boxing is about. So yes, I am a Carl Froch fan.
