maidana, while very dangerous is wide open and good movement will fustrated him, it is winnable, he could prove alot, plus maidana is known by taking out ortiz so he could gain a bit of exporsure, would love him to have this on the pac-may undercard but dont think roach would like the idea of not being in the corner for such a dangerous fight, and i think he wants amir to be on the undercard so i can see him vacnting and fighting a easier fight to look good on the undercard, if they can come to some arrangement to wait until the summer then he might do it but think 90 days wont suit roachs plans i feel.

Maidana is the biggest threat to Khan because styles make fights and Maidana has a much bigger punch than any of the people Warren wants to put Khan in with instead. He is also very well known in the States, because he just completely destroyed the most hyped US prospect in many years, in a Fight of the Year candidate. To call him a small name is ridiculous.

And he's Khan's mandatory, and Khan knew that he would be his mandatory when he originally signed to fight Kotelnik. If he doesn't think he is ready to fight anyone who can punch, he shouldn't have called himself a world champion, that's just pathetic. World champions don't vacate just because they're too terrified to fight anyone who can punch.

Maidana may be limited but he is far better than Prescott and Prescott destroyed Khan only a year ago. Styles make fights, and Khan has not proved that he is capable of beating big punchers, however limited they may be. If Khan wants to call himself a champion he has to prove he can do that. Otherwise he should quit pretending and admit that he's too scared to fight anyone who can punch, and that he just wants to cash out for as long as he can.
