if Pac beats Mayweather and retires, is he automatically on the top 5 GOAT list?

i like both pac and mayweather

but i do find it funny that, on one hand, there are twenty threads posted here a day discrediting and attacking mayweather, while at the same token, a lot is being spoken with regards to pac becoming one of, if not the greatest of all time by virtue of beating mayweather. seems rather su****ious to me.

one thing is clear in my mind, whoever wins will really have to fight mosely to be considered the best in the division. that is, if (more like when) mosely defeats berto.

If he beats PBF, and the winner of Berto/SSM he might get in my top ten depending on how he beats them.

Baring in mindthat Duran fought until he was 50 and is only at Number 8 and thats with a decade ruling LW followed by a Manny like run up the weight divisions beating prime ATG's along the way.

              Moralesx2 Barerrax2 Marquezx2

              then

              Mosley Maywether DelaHoya Cotto

That would be quite a resume', but a big IF.
I agree, Top ten if he beats Mayweather easy. Top 5 easy if he beats Mayweather and Shane.

Floyd is just inside of the top 50 himself(somewhere in the mid to late 40's) IMO so I wouldn't bump up Manny TOO high for beating Floyd...
I think this is an accurate description. People forget just how many great fighters there have been throughout history. Guys who ruled divisions when there were less weight classes and only one title. If Pac beat Floyd it would be an amazing accomplishment, but I can name at least 15 fighters who's accomplishments were just as great.

That said, to be even considered this high all time in this day and age is an incredible feat. Manny is a throw back.

THAT said, I hope he beats Floyd, but I don't think it will happen.

But Floyd beat Pac the same way he beat Marquez and Pac can't hit him then Floyd is top 5 ATG not question.

He will be... but not now, it'll take a lot of years before his boxing career is rated as an ATG IMO.

Not, cause you all says Floyd is a fraud. So why would it add anything to Pac's legacy?
