remember what manny steward was saying on the pac/cotto broadcast, how pac is up there with the ray robinson's and ali's...as of right now, i don't think so, but if he was to beat mayweather and retire for good, would anyone put Pacquiao above those two on their lists?

Nope. Pac still has a long way to go. He's fought fighters who were either washed up, shopworn, weight drained, or old. IF he beats Money it will be the first legitimate victory of his career. Not to mention the cloud of su****ion hanging over Manny's record with the whole performance enhancing drugs.

        not "automatically"...

a "serious consideration" is probably the better term...

& not top 5... top 10 would be more fair...

        just an opinion...

Shut it will you. So you know better than boxing historians do you? PBF beat people who in hindsight were not good in the first place.

Shop worn Cotto is better than anyone PBF has fought. PBF has fought even more shop worn people than Pac. A shop worn JMM who Pac downed so many times. A shop worn DLH beat by SSM and BH. And also a shop worn Hatton just about beaten by Collazo. Add that to his never were any really good Gatti, manfredys and Castillos of this world.

I wouldn't say top 5. Top 5 would mean outshining prime opponents in a dominant fashion. He barely got a win over JMM, if beating a weight drained, over rated and a boxer that was damaged goods, then someone tell JMM to find those opponents so he can become a top 5 ATG.

If he gives Mayweather a beat down and then KO's Mosely(assuming he beats Berto) then he is in my top 5 ATG. I mean cleaning up an amazing welterweight class after cleaning up a legendary featherweight class would be pretty amazing.

                Moralesx2 Barerrax2 Marquezx2

                then

                Mosley Maywether DelaHoya Cotto

That would be quite a resume', but a big IF.
