Is it me or did Marquez get outboxed by Barrera? if it wasn't for the ****** Knockdown call and the point deduction that turned that round from a 10-8 round for barrera to a 10-8/10-7 round for marquez.

Other then that he has hung with Pac i will give credit, but if the first fight is scored correctly he loses that one as well.. i think he is pretty overated round here..

i know Marquez is a HOFer for sure. But im not sold on him being a ATG. Let me hear your thoughts.

well it depends? atg as in top 100 i would say maybe, he was in 2 very close fights with the best fighter of the decade, moved up in weight and defeated the top 2 lightweights at the time by ko, they might have not been the best lightweight ever but they were solid fighters, then he moved up in weight to face the most skilled fighter of our decade, didn't do good, but he never gave up, the guy is true warrior, he was very skilled as a jr lightweight, and at this moment he's the #4 top p4p.

overrated? he beat Barrera regardless, it was close but a clear win for Marquez, you people are underrating the guy.
