I dont think this fight will be a DUD, at the least I expect it to be similar to PAC-JMM fights with a lot of see-saw action .... both fighters having their moments ...

I hope its not, and I'll be rooting for Pac. But under the circumstances I still don't see it as the biggest fight ever. It is historical though and that is great for boxing.

Still criticize Floyd for his lack of opposition?

If you want to beak it down, of course. That doesn't take away from this fight though.

I am almost sure it wont disappoint us fans ...

one question what ATG fights have "PRE" fights discussions that the result will resolve the following?

WHo is P4P No. 1; Who is Fighter of the Decade; Who is higher ATG (Folyd's claim he is the GOAT, PAC has very good argument if he beats Floyd)

did ODLH-Trinidad; SRL-Duran or SRL-Hearns asked these same questions prior their fights?

Or is it just a bigger fight because of PPV? Millions and millions of people were focused on these three other fights when there was no PPV. Everyone in the world was focused on them. What makes this fight bigger and more significant?
It might be bigger than those you listed even while accounting for inflation. So it is the biggest in money-terms probably.

In significance to the masses and the general mainstream global appeal it falls behind though.

Still it's a very big fight and I look forward to it. I expect a safe Floyd UD.

I dont think Ive ever really heard anyone say that this is the biggest fight ever. I just always hear them talk about it being the biggest in terms of money. When it comes to the biggest fight, how can you really judge that? There have been alot of big fights.

However, the TS said that Ali-Frazier was huge without all the stuff we have now but I disagree with that. All the stuff we have now is nothing compared to the fact that the sport itself was much bigger back then. Bird & Magic saved the NBA in the 80's after alot of down time and Football was just becoming big. Most people had Boxing as a truly major sport so that carries way more weight then the internet and 24/7.

With that being said, there were alot of big fights. Ali vs Frazier & Foreman. The 4 Horesman in the 80's. Chavez-Sweet Pea was big but more on the insiders level even though it was in a Dome. You have the HW's of the 90's with Bowe-Holyfield and then Lewis-Tyson. The one fight that everyone is forgetting is Oscar-Tito. That was a huge fight at the time and some still think that it was bigger than this fight

No, it won't be the biggest fight of all time. But it will be the biggest fight in the last 20-30 years.

I don't know, some of Julio Cesar Chavez's fights may be bigger than this will be in attendance numbers.

But for sure this is the biggest fight of the century so far, and it will be #1 in overall profit.
