Is it really the biggest fight of all time?

If Mayweather-Pacquiao comes off is it really the biggest fight of all time? Bigger than Ali-Frazier 1? Bigger than Louis-Schmeling 2? Johnson-Jeffries? Or is it just a bigger fight because of PPV? Millions and millions of people were focused on these three other fights when there was no PPV. Everyone in the world was focused on them. What makes this fight bigger and more significant?

No but it will be the biggest fight in quite some time, since Holyfield-Tyson maybe.

And as Thread Starter said, it might end up being the richest fight of all time.

I agree with both of you.

But what does that have to do with anything? I highly doubt the entire orld will be focused on this fight as they were Louis and Schmelling. Im not taking away from this event, I just don't see it as the biggest or most important fight ever. As two other posters have already pointed out though, it will probably be the richest. To me that doesn't make it the biggest though.

it will definitely be up there with the biggest in my opinion. especially since a lot of the biggest fights of all time is heavyweight matchups. it think its safe to say that it will be one of the biggest fights in the lower weightclasses. (but it will also rank high all over)
