I think there are more than a hundred of fights that was pushed to a later date. And its normal.

Pushing to a later date is no ducking. When Floyd pushed his fight from july to september against marquez. Thats no ducking.

Until pacman says NO to floyd. the fight is still ON.

You're right, when Floyd pushed the fight from July to Sept it wasn't ducking. He was injured, that's why the fight got pushed back.

Did marquez beat a shot barrera convincingly? Did floyd beat diego corrales who was dehydrated and needed money? did he beat a prime de la hoya? did he beat arturro gatti who what i remember got ktfo by de la hoya? Did he beat a confident zab judah who i remember just got beat by baldomir on his last fight? I dont care what you guys say that cotto was shot because fighters gets beat and comes back. Clottey is a hard fight for anyone. I believe that if it was the cotto before the margarito fight, he wouldve been knocked out earlier because from what i saw from that cotto before the margarito, he got tagged by alot of counters when he moves in and we know how pac stunned him badly in round 4.

Are you talking about Cotto? He is completely irrelevant now. He should just retire, he's just a youtube highlight fighter now. Most of his highlights were against bums, a power puncher who never KO'ed or beat convincingly any elite fighter. Before or after Margarito.

Floyd sustained an injury while in training camp for the Marquez fight. So the fight was postponed, what that has to do with Pacman's ear right now...........I don't quite see the connection. I also see why Floyd should have been rip for sustaining an injury in training camp? If Manny needs the additional time to heal, that is fine, just say so. But how do you explain being ready for Yuri Foreman in March but not Floyd Mayweather. Will his ear drum heal quicker based on who his opponent will be? I am not knocking Manny by the way, but the double standard by which we judge the two fighters is mind boggling. And no, I do not happen to think any one guy is afraid of the other guy. But how is it possible to sympathetic to Manny's ear drum injury, but not to Floyd's training camp injury or vice versa. It's not like Floyd said that he was too injured to sign enter into a contractual date with JMM, then said but I will fight Juri Foreman or that same day instead?? Confusing for me

I don't know about this assumption. This is not the impression a lot of people have of this situation. Some may argue, that it makes Top Rank and Roach look like they are caught with their pants down. I don't get the feeling that Arum and Roach are tossing their weight around here. Roach opening his mouth has really made things sound a bit messier than necessary. Manny should speak more for himself and tell Freddie to get some where and sit down.

u are wrong if manny is really ducking floyd and lets say floyd fights the winner of shane and berto then if he wins i dont think he is going to agree for a 50-50 split and then this fight will be very difficult to happen coz manny's team will use that as an excuse to not fight floyd.

If this turns out to be true, it would be just as I predicted. I said in an earlier post that Pacquaio did not want the fight and would find an excuse to get out of it. His attorney claims it would have to be later in the year, but I bet that later never comes. He will come up with another excuse "later" to avoid the fight. This is one of those times when I hate being right.

Honestly you can't really blame him for this from what I know about the situation. He has a busted ear drum and likely needs to work harder than ever for this fight, 3 months is just not enough time for him to be prepared properly. May 1st could be enough but even then his schedule will be ridiculous but that could be doable, although I'm not sure he'd be at his best by then. Even Roach before anything was discussed said May or June at the least. People need to chill.

Bull****! You can blame him. Freddie Roach was the one who said he needed the fight in May. Then he said March and claimed Mayweather didn't want it in March. Now that Mayweather has agreed to fight in March, he is backing out again if this story is true. If there was a problem with his eardrum, they wouldn't have been talking about a fight in May and damn sure not in March. Mayweather called their bluff. Now they have no choice but to run away with their tail between their legs. If you can hate on Mayweather, you should hold Pac to the same standard.
