At the point in time I have to agree, but Eubank would be a tough opponent for anyone.Why a Jones-Collins fight didn't happen only Jones knows why. Maybe he was busy fighting atg like Bryant Brannon.

I know collins didnt match up in terms of skills with benn or eubank but he beat them because of mental toughness being ready to die or take lifes in the ring goes a long way in the boxing game and for anyone to say eubank or benn deserved a shot at jones before collins is just laughable...

Toney ducks no one and had been openly calling for a fight with Eubank for ages. Eubank knew it was a fight he would most probably lose and could avoid so he didn't take it. Why fight Toney and risk losing, when you can fight bum mandatories instead.
Im sure HBO would of been more interested in a Collins fight then some of the other fights Jones had at smw.
