Why i wont give Mayweather props if he does beat Manny

Thats why i said i take no issue with opinions on legacy. They vary. But the winner of that fight should get massive props. Mayweather has accomplished more than some give him credit for and after he is gone I have a feeling he will be looked upon more favorably. Manny in my minds is maybe in the top 25 all time so to have a win over him in his prime would have to give someone props and add to overall legacy.

Well im just basing my assumption that most people think Pacquiao's resume trumps Mayweather's. Basically im all for the fighter who has the stronger resume being ranked higher. At the end of the day its what you have proven consistently against the best, not someones perception of what you are capable of.

Will you rank Floyd higher if he beats Pac, dominant decision or by KO, or will he have to strengthen his resume with 1/2 more wins for you? if so who should he be fighting after that?

IF Floyd does have the same drive as Pac, then that is a different story, but still he needs to fight top/best fighters the boxing has to offer to prove it.

A win over Manny would cause different people to view them differently and have their own opinions. Thats why i have no issues with someone feeling manny has better legacy if he loses to floyd. if mayweather beats mosley(only if mosley beats berto) and then beats paul willaims at anyweight higher than 147 that would do it for me.
