Manny in my minds is maybe in the top 25 all time so to have a win over him in his prime would have to give someone props and add to overall legacy.

Well im just basing my assumption that most people think Pacquiao's resume trumps Mayweather's. Basically im all for the fighter who has the stronger resume being ranked higher. At the end of the day its what you have proven consistently against the best, not someones perception of what you are capable of.

Will you rank Floyd higher if he beats Pac, dominant decision or by KO, or will he have to strengthen his resume with 1/2 more wins for you? if so who should he be fighting after that?

I honestly don't see Mayweather accomplishing as much as Pacquiao, Mayweather doesn't have that sort of drive.

IF Floyd does have the same drive as Pac, then that is a different story, but still he needs to fight top/best fighters the boxing has to offer to prove it.

Much better example that was used earlier. The difference to me is that Floyd and Manny are closer in terms of accomplishment even though Manny is ahead of Floyd in that department. A win over Manny would cause different people to view them differently and have their own opinions. Thats why i have no issues with someone feeling manny has better legacy if he loses to floyd. It also depends on what floyd does after Manny.

if mayweather beats mosley(only if mosley beats berto) and then beats paul willaims at anyweight higher than 147 that would do it for me.

For the 1st sentence: Mosley lost to Winky twice, but Mosley is still ranked higher than Winky.

I used the post of DSoy for the last sentence dude.

What you reckon he will continue if he beats Pac? what type of opponents do you think he will look to fight if you feel he will continue?

How far infront do you think Manny would still be with a loss to Floyd, sorry so many questions lol
