Why i wont give Mayweather props if he does beat Manny

Yeah i forgot about the JMM loss, but yeah that is the principle behind it, that some people seem to think that because Morales has a better resume that he should be ranked higher regardless of head to head battle.

I dont take issue with someone making the arguement that they feel Manny still has better legacy even if he loses to Floyd. I do take issue though with the idea Floyd doesnt get as much much props. People make the arguement that he doesnt fight the best. Well Manny is not only the best but also the most dangerous challenge out there physically. Whoever wins should get mad props. I can see Mayweather going 12 with mosley without taking his best shot, im not so sure that can happen against pac. And if it does that alone deserves props. Anyone who can beat a history making ATG in his prime should get massive props even if your last name is Mayweather.

Thats why i said i take no issue with opinions on legacy. They vary. But the winner of that fight should get massive props. Mayweather has accomplished more than some give him credit for and after he is gone I have a feeling he will be looked upon more favorably. Manny in my minds is maybe in the top 25 all time so to have a win over him in his prime would have to give someone props and add to overall legacy.
