I'm afraid this is no better a win than Memo Ayon's win over Sugar Ray Robinson, Hector Camacho's win over Sugar Ray Leonard, Trevor Berbick's win over Muhammad Ali and William Joppy's win over Roberto Duran.Last edited by odogg8121; 12-02-2009, 10:26 AM.

Roy got caught clean it came out of nowhere but still when you back yourself into a corner with your left hand low like that like someone else said his reflexes ain't there at 40 years of age to get out the way using that style he fought with you gonna get hit
roy dominated with hand and foot speed as soon as the foot speed went he lost one of his major assets
i agree though he should be beating guys like Green easy either he took him way too lightly or he really is washed up
i feared this might happen Roy had his mind on the Bernard fight and took his eye of the prize now he ****ed up big time

I think roy needs to retire but i think his love for boxing makes it hard for him to walk away
Its kinda like, if you played sports in high school and then you watch a game live, you wish you were still out there playing. I think this is how Roy Jones Jr. is with boxing. He was announcing on HBO because he still wanted to be around boxing but it obviously wasn't enough to satisfy his desire to be involved with the sport, and that is why he elects to fight.
Hopefully Roy Jones will stay out of the boxing ring. He gave us many memories, but he should look out for his health more than trying to strengthen a legacy that is already strong!
