IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green's crushing first round knockout sends shockwaves to everyone; even to thousands of his countrymen who watched it live at the packed Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. Green caught Jones with a right hand in second minute of the first round, landing the punch on the temple and nearly knocking out the ring veteran with that single shot. Jones beat the count, but he was out on his feet and easy picking for Green, who battered him against the ropes until the ref jumped in to stop the pounding. [Click Here To Read More]

Please retire now... this is embarrassing. No one wants to see the Hopkins Jones fight now I would think. Well I don't anyways

Props to green, but saying that this is greatest win of his career is...hmmm I don't have a word for it. He just fought and win against a name who is a legend in the sport.

It's not like he has any other notable wins so it might as well be.

I'm afraid this is no better a win than Memo Ayon's win over Sugar Ray Robinson, Hector Camacho's win over Sugar Ray Leonard, Trevor Berbick's win over Muhammad Ali and William Joppy's win over Roberto Duran.

A fighter way past his prime losing like this is not embarrassing.

RJJ brought this to himself because he love boxing, he wants to continue fighting, but his body just can't take it anymore.

(a prime RJJ will eat hotdog and read newspaper while fighting D.Green and still win by KO)

          Props to Green though.

It is easily the best win of his career.

Still, gotta give him credit for it. Not many people thought he would do it, let alone in the fashion that he did.

I didn't think he would win, even at 40 years old Jones should have had enough to beat him. It's just a shame it ended in the first round. If it went 12, I still think Jones would've won.

              Congratulations to Danny Green.

This is better than end up retiring because of brain damage. too many boxers this year won't be fighting ever again because of their injuries.
