I am not taking anything away from pac, but it all becomes subjective now with all these alphabet belts. Leonard and Mayweather won in 5 different divisions and all are from the 3 major sanctioning bodies WBC, IBF, WBA. DLH won in 6 if you count WBO's at 130 and 160(which we all know he lost to Sturm anyway). I think my standard is really only 4 should count-WBA WBO,WBC, and IBF. Ring Magazine has Kelly Pavlik as their Champ? Its a magazine which is the bible of boxing but its not a sanctioning body.

If we dont have any standards than we end up with the Camacho problem. Camacho won belts in 7 different weight classes as pac. But some were from the IBC. Camacho won the following:
    130- WBC, NABF
    135- WBC, NABF
    140- WBO
    147- IBC
    154- WBE, IBC, WBF
    160- IBC
168- NBA - not to be confused with Basketball LOL

The only belt on the line was the WBO, and it should have been, because the fight was not at welterweight.

It was only 1 pound about MAYWEATHERWEIGHT which is 144.

and your idol a steroid freak FLOYD JR. said that his fight which was as 144 is consider a WW fight

Lineal champ is something you can vacate. Zsolt Erdei just vacated his lineal claim at 175. Floyd had a vacated 2 of them. Remember Floyd as was the lineal champ at 147 and then fought Oscar at 154 then came back down to defend his lineal best at 147 against Hatton.

Pavlik is a lineal champ... He was not campaigning as a LHW.

Henry Armstrong is a perfect example bro

Well Baldomir would of probably been stripped from the IBF belt. But, Baldomir would of still been lineal champ. Which Floyd would of won regardless. The point was that Baldomir didn't get the IBF belt from Zab cuz he didn't pay the sanctioning fee. But, if he did is not a sure thing that he would of still had it when Floyd beat him.

Catchweights is nothing new bro. A WW fight is from 141-147. Chavez-Whitaker fought for the lineal title at WW in a catchweight of 145. It didn't diminish anything bro. There has been title fights at catchweight since the beginning of boxing. Is nothing new.

The lineal title is arguably more prestigious than the 4 major sanctioning bodies so why wouldn't you count it?
