How is Manny Pacquiao a "7 divisional titleist"?

he's a 7 division champion..but a 5 division world titlist..i wonder if he won anther belt in that divioson would they count that aswell???cause in that case floyd would be a 8 time champion in 5 divisions

No they don't is like people saying Floyd is a 6 time world champion in 5 weightclass. But, in reality he is really a 5 time world champion. Since he should of never won the IBF belt from Zab Judah. Cuz Judah did not deserve to have it. But, the only reason he kept it was cuz Baldomir didn't pay the sanctioning fee.

At the very least he fought for the IBO belt when facing Hatton (WBO wasn't recognized at first too so...might have to give it time) but what exactly happened with Barrera? What happened to Barrera's belt?

Actually Ring and lineal is 2 different stuff. For example Roy was the ring champ at 175. But, Dariusz M. was the lineal champ.

Pac was lineal at 112, 126, 130, and 140. Held titles at 122, 135, and 147.
