Pac's win against DLH is crap to me, like Floyd's win against Baldomir.
Pac's win against Hatton was average... I know it will happen once Pac lands his left.
Pac's win against Cotto? you tell me... I still can't believe if it's real or not.Comment

not all or even some are like you. You are far more objective than any Mayweather fan I've seen in this forum.Comment

Barrera was the recognized best at the 126lb division. He had the WBC belt but was stripped in an attempt to fight Johnny Tapia who was also a title holder and alot than his proposed mandatory challenger and beat him.
So because a champion decides to face the best instead of tomato can mandatories and is stripped for it....should we no longer consider them a champion????
Same thing with Hatton Hatton had the IBF belt at 140 but was stripped because he wanted to face Malignaggi who was the the 2nd best junior weltwerweight instead of his mandatory Juan Urango who he had already beaten decisively before.Comment

Even if you take that IBO away from hatton before the fight, he's still a lineal champion so the IBO excuse is not in effect here... With or without the IBO belt, Pacquiao still a lineal champion after putting Hatton to sleep..

Lineal Title is far greater than all the alphabet titles
Only in JWW had Pac got the IBO title.. But remember hatton was the lineal champ on that division and was stripped by IBF of the title.Comment

anybody?
IBO may not be as major as the other 4, but the "I" stands for international, so it is a "world" belt so to speak
The WBO for awhile wasn't recognized as a major title, but is now. You never know, the IBO could be the fifth major title alongside the other 4...
*And let me also add, please read my sig about fanboyism...I hate it for ANY fighter, it's ridiculous the idiocy that comes along with creating a thread about a popular boxer.*
26 United States Evander Holyfield October 25, 1990 - October, 1990 (discontinued championship policy during Holyfield's reign)
27 England Lennox Lewis 2002 - February 6, 2004 (Retired)
It's best to assume that from 1990 to the early part of 2000, the lineal title was discontinued. Hence, the absence of the recordComment
