Watch it again, it wasn't that great. Floyds win over Corrales was a lot more impressive and didn't take as long to end. Cotto could have made it through that 12th but they felt he had no chance in getting the KO and had taken enough punches to that point. No way Corrales was getting to that part of the fight. Despite what you say, you do sound like a Mayweather hater all the way. I think a lot of Mayweather haters have adopted the line that they are also fans of his so they wont be labeled haters. Problem is, its evident when you guys make statements like the one above. You're not hiding anything or fooling anyone, my friend.Comment

I don't know what you were smoking when you wrote this piece of fiction, but this is pure garbage. Floyd tried to secure a fight with Hamed at 128, but Hamed turned it down without even considering it. Hamed wanted no part of Mayweather. There was never any discussion about Morales fighting Mayweather. Morales AVOIDED a Nassem Hamed fight at 126 three times. No way he was going to move up to 130 to fight Mayweather. If Floyd was willing to fight Mosley, a guy with a 95 percent KO ratio, in 1999, what makes you think he would avoid a 122 pounder moving up? Floyd was still trying to make a name for himself at at that time and would have fought anybody. He was willing to take on Diego Corrales, a champion at 130, Jesus Chavez and Carlos Hernandez, both of whom became champions later, in consecutive fights, but was afraid of Morales. Bull****!! If you have some proof to back up this claim, please provide it.
his proof is that he followed boxing closely, and was a big floyd fan.im wondering how could anybody who follows the sport closely think a fight with morrales would be the least bit competitiveComment

"I chased him years ago at 130 and he wouldn't fight. His father wouldn't let him. I would love to fight Mayweather even if I have to go 10lbs for that fight. He won't fight me though." - a prime Casamayor

i may be mistaken but i believe hernandez was a mandatory for floyd, but either way
morrales fought them some years later, and what do they have to do with the outcome of him vs floyd?what have you seen in any of his fights at 130 to suggest it would be competitive?Comment

Personally... after the Hatton fight. You could say his was cashing out on the Dlh, Hat fight. Then retirement ... Good for him, I didn't bash him for it but he could have at least took on the Cotto-Marg winner. Prior that, he was talking about a rematch with DLH, WTF??? Cashing again but I'm not interested in watching a replay again. Then came the Jmm fight. If he follows this up with another no risk fight, I would no longer be a fan.Comment
