So is Calzaghe gonna give us some kind of explanation of why Kessler lost to Ward?

Beating a prime Adamek is without question better than anything Calzaghe has done. A 43-year-old Hopkins is the closest thing to that Calzaghe has accomplished. It's pathetic.

I think Nelson is a good guy too, but those wins are at BEST average.

            This thread is a riot.

All the haters coming out of the woodwork, reveling in picking massive holes Slapzaghe's resume, once and for all. The timing is perfect too, because since retirement, the ATG talk has begun.

Love the fact that the Slappy fanboys are resorting to.....wait for it.....pictures as rebuttals.

Oh, life is so good. So good.

Become a boxing a fan, find some new nuts to hold or grow a pair of your own? Tough choices, I tell ya.

But...I stand by what I said previously, that until the events of the Super Six tournament play out I will not re-think my opinion on Joe's career, because as I said earlier:

Ward may become great, OR Kessler may win the rest of the tournament. The fact is nobody knows.

If Ward loses his next fights and Kessler wins his next two, it will mean Ward's only claim to fame is beating Kessler in a more decisive manner than Calzaghe (perhaps because styles make fights - younger, faster, slicker etc) but ultimatley did not perform as well as Kessler, who may claim the tournament.

I know its great fun to jump in now and attack the Calzaghe fans, but as BOXING fans we have to understand this is far from over.

                Thank You.

Folk forget how long Ward has been boxing for and what he done as an amateur. Im glad I picked him.

You'll have a hard time arguing that Lacy tops that, but of course I'll be happy to read your attempt.

I don't see how Beyer, Mundine and Andrade are better than Sheika, Reid and Vanderpool. I don't see it.
