I think you overstated the NOT FIGHTING THE BEST. Floyd fought some of the best when he was on the lower weights, but when he moved to WW he fought none of the TOP WWs. Don't tell me Baldomir is TOP WW, that's crazy man.

Not questioning your reading comprehenson in anyway. I'm just saying that eventhough me and you may know for sure that Baldomir and Zab wasn't the best at 147 talent wise. THey were the best in the division at that time and both were champions at 147. There was no one else in the division at that time that held the Undisputed and Lineal titles except Zab and Baldomir.
After Floyd beat them both he got his mega payday with Oscar then Hatton and became a Boxing star, sort of like Pacquiao did after the JMM fight.
