Pacquiao a Tough Fight For Mayweather, Says Wright

Pac definitely impressed and made a believer out of me in regards
to being able to handle moving up because I didn't think he could
do to his strictly offensive style but he did it right. I noticed that
many on here keep forgetting that Floyd started his career at 130
and fought some good fighters until he got established and began
making big money but even then the majority of his fights were
championship fights. Praise Pac and down Floyd all you want but
Floyd was on another level several years ago and had the sport in
aw by his Boxing skill.

I'm not downing Floyd, their is no question that Floyd is a gifted boxer, his technical boxing skills is A grade, that's undeniable. My main question is, as most of the boxing fans,purists & hardcores, why Floyd isn't fighting the best?

I agree with you that Floyd should fight the best and I think his effort
to make a deal to fight Manny Pacquiao is a fine example of him doing
just that because as of right now Pac is the P4P best correct? I think
more a less WE just want him to fight more than he does against the guys
WE want him to fight that WE think are the best and I don't see anything
wrong with feeling like that. Like I said before, Manny then Mosley, I
believe Floyd will fight them both next year. To say that he didn't fight
the best throughout his career when most of his fights were title bouts
is an understatment in my opinion.

Mad props to Manny for what he's done but more respect to his PR team and management because he has been masterfully moved and promoted. When has Manny fought a fresh fighter since Marquez? They picked Cotto because they knew they could outsmart him and they knew that he was coming off some vicious brawls. I'm talking Judah, Shane, Margarito and Clottey all vicious brawls, how much can a body take. That's why they wanted him immediately and Cotto's bravado wouldn't allow him to say no which was his down fall. Say what you want about Floyd but he is probably the smartest fighter to ever lace'em up. Boxing is about what Floyd does not a tough man contest. I hear a lot of predictions but I'm going with Floyd by easy decision or late round stoppage and I lean more towards the stoppage because Floyd knows whats at stake too and will be very prepared like he always is. One key to Manny is listening to big mouth Freddie Roach. Freddie said before each of Manny's last three fights that the fighters weren't the same and had deteriorated now he's saying Manny won't be ready to fight Floyd in March because he wont be prepared for his style. Roach knows that what Floyd has he was born with and 2-3 more months is not gonna be enough to prepare Manny for Floyd he's just hoping and wishing to catch Floyd. Fools can sleep on that 0 all they want but that 0 aint there for nothing.

I think you overstated the NOT FIGHTING THE BEST. Floyd fought some of the best when he was on the lower weights, but when he moved to WW he fought none of the TOP WWs. Don't tell me Baldomir is TOP WW, that's crazy man.

that are true out of his mouth but no one seems to listen. Freddie predicted
every fight of Manny's, dissed Floyd and then when it's time to man up,
Roach says he needs more time to prepare Manny for Floyd's style. Big up
