Serious question, can Miguel Cotto defeat Manny Pacquiao if he has the right plan?

will they allow him to do that?

I'm a big Cotto fan and really felt that the fight wasn't close at all. The difference in skill and talent is so great that tactics don't do much. IMO

and if the 2 pounds of muscle would not be significant then why did roach insist in a catchweight?
why do people ask for ring size? type of gloves? ring entrance last? introduction last? fight venue? different refs?

you ask for everything. you never know if it'll help.

he weighed 146 before. so he chose to lose 1 lb on muscle?

cotto's the one who said 145, roach demands 142-144

the minute cotto Pac called him, cotto said it could be done at 145

you are avoiding the question... but i see your point you try to get the most advantage but its not guaranteed to work as planned. but 2 pounds of muscle would help with power. would it have been enough to make a difference? we will never know. most would say that maybe not but there is no way to tell.

i said before the fight that if pac can take cottos power he would win and I also said that if pac broke cottos nose cotto would loose. that is exactly what happend. for boxing's sake I hoped for a more competitive fight but it was not.

I'm also a Cotto fan but I have to say, no, he can't. Could he make it closer? Maybe. But beat Manny Pacquiao? Not today's Pacquiao.

if i have more muscle i should be stronger right? can we agree on that? I am not saying that it would have won the fight. it might have not been enough to win still but it is an unknown that is all.
