    .
This is the #1 and #2 p4p and the #1 and #1a ppv draws. What would they be working their way back to? Floyd is 33 by fight time. Pac is 30+. both guys started at low weights, and small guys age quickly.

The problem with rematches is that THEY SELL. Sol we get them whether we want to or not. And we are ****** enough to buy what they sell.

Why did we need Shane-Vargas 2?

After all, Floyd walked away from a $20 Million guarantee for an Oscar rematch. Why wouldn't he do it again?

You think Oscar wouldn't have preferred to fight Floyd again as opposed to the humiliation of going out on the Forebes/pacqiao fiasco?
Quick question. When fighters sign the rematch clause. What would happen if they go thru with it? For example I am not using this as hate or anything. But, if Floyd signs the clause right. And, dominates how can he be forced to fight Pac again? Will Arum take him to court? Is that how they would settle it?

Was there a way for Dawson not to fight Tarver? I know if he didn't fight Tarver he probably would of gotten stripped of the IBF. Which he gave up anyways. But, if he didn't go through with the rematch what else would of happened?

Wasn't JMM another option as well for Naz?

Yes, arum can sue him for breach of contract. Arum can get a judge to issue an injunction preventing Floyd from fighting anyone else.

But before that happened, the NSAC would intercede.

Yeah im aware. I was talking more generally about the principle but if Floyd would manage to completly dominate Pac he should not be bound up by a rematch clause.

I believe so....but JMM was viewed as the third Mexican back then. Right?

The Mayweather camp wants a rematch clause to be consentual because they know if Floyd loses Pac would not run from a challenge and would give him the rematch no questions asked.
They also know that if Floyd wins it'll be by the hairs of his chinny chin chin and would like to avoid a rematch if they can avoid it and gloat about how great he is because he beat Pac by split decision.

                yup...just ask marquez.

And that is what he doesn't want. plus, that second fight would sell less, i presume. A Floyd domination is seldom pretty to the casual fan. Unless it is a gatti-ization.

pendejo , marquez turned down the 1st rematch.

hbo offered pac and jmm 750k each to do an immediate rematch and pac accepted while jmm turned it down.
