I'd love to see a Paul Williams Vs. Shane Mosley match up.

All this about nobody wants to fight him at 147 is BS. All these fighters want too much money.

Panama Al Brown who was a 5'11" bantamweight pretty much says to shut the **** up.

Boxing goes by weight divisions not height or reach or any other dumb **** your pea sized brain tells you.


Tall fighters also have a disadvantage with their long arms.

They're terrible inside fighters for the most part and are highly susceptible to body shots.

You can find several examples throughout history, but I think height and reach disparities, are almost as bad as weight disparities. Like I hear all this crying about Floyd going 146 to JMM's 142..and fightnight, he probably added about 10. so.. 156 to I believe JMM was 146. A 10 lb disparity that people cried to the heavens about. But... 6 inches taller and a foot more reach is just about as bad, people. Then factor in that Pdub adds 15-20 lbs from weigh in to fight night.

P dub fights pretty ok on the inside. He can use his rangey arms to throw in angles that are unheard of from any normal fighter. Besides his range coupled with his work rate rarely allows that to happen anways.

I dont agree with that, if P.Will had been fighting before day after weigh ins, he would have never fought at 147 or it would have been to his demise.

So do really fast fighters or really powerful fighters or fighters with great chins or fighters with good movement. Everyone has some kind of advantage.

Manny's about fighting the best because he wants to fight the best no matter how much he says in front of the cameras he is just a ordinary fighter or whatever that was about. He's humble, no question, but he continues to challenge himself. Look where he is today: He is Champion and at an elite level. Now compare that to where he was before he left for L.A.
It's that type of person who gets the top. Falls, gets up. Falls, gets up and is determined to get better. That's the big thing with Manny that I like.
Floyd may beat him, but he is not better in my eyes overall if you know what I mean.
