He tried to fight Pavlik too but Kelly pulled out. What else do you want the guy to do?

Paul will have to wait a year. They are enough fights for the other guys that they don't need to include him.

Mayweather can beat Pacquiao and Mosley, but not Williams. So, floyd can just face Pac, then the Mosley/Berto winner, and hope that Paul is out of 147 by then. or that Bradley/Peterson/ Alvarez or one of the other youngstres is available in 2011.

Yeah when he was over 30. That's like saying Duran belonged at 168 and not 135 because he fought there.

Martinez is a good fight for him.

Also, I'd like to see him against Yuri and Dzinziruk

Goosen probably didn't say anything bad about Berto or Mayweather because Al Haymon manages them. But we all know the deal.

People don't want to admit that Williams is the most avoided fighter, but the circumstances speaks for itself. The only guys that wanted anything to do with him are a couple of unknown European fighters and an unproven prospect in Kirkland. Everyone else is shook.

two things need to be considered here.

Back then they didn't cut weight as efficiently or scientifically. So Weights were more constant from weigh in to fight night. P dub puts on 15 to 20 lbs between weigh in and fight night.

As for Hearns, he went a span of 5 years... and jumped from 147 to 160... he started his career at like 19- or 20... Him putting on weight had very little to do with "growing" but more a choice on his part.

                    Lets not forget,

Margarito also tangled with him as well and gave him hell.
