Taller fighters with miles of reach have a distinct, almost unfair advantage..

Plus, P dub puts on like 20lbs from weigh in to fight night,

I'll say it again..he doesn't belong at WW... he should Clean out his current division.or even go up in weight, like hearns did.
So do really fast fighters or really powerful fighters or fighters with great chins or fighters with good movement. Everyone has some kind of advantage.

      At 147, Paul isn't thick...attack the body.

This is still why the HW division is the best division: no complaints about height, reach, and weight.

People like to make a big deal about Pac moving up...well, go look at Barbados Joe Walcott...Sam Langford, and many others. Weight, Height, Reach...eh...pay me...let's fight.

Paul Williams division was WW until he was pushed out because the big names didn't want to fight him.

Shane, Floyd, Pac...all are second class to Williams at 147 until they fight him.
Benny, some of these kids don't understand there are also advantages to being the smaller man. Most of the time, they have faster hands, quicker footspeed, are more evasive, etc. I believe it was Armstrong who said the reason he had no problem facing the bigger guys is because of his particular advantages.

Am sure Pacquiao would fight williams if Roach can get Williams to come down to 141.. Since everybody kept saying 141-147 is still a welterweight fight.

"Williams shouldn't be allowed to get big fights at 147 because his reach is too long"

This essentially sums up how ******ed some people on this forum are.

How can he prove it if no one in the top 10 wants to fight him?

OK...not nearly the class of fighter Williams is at, but Tyson had a good idea when he fought Ribalta who was 6'5. It's not a Tucker situation because Tucker would move around. Paul comes in.

The key here with Tyson of course was that he had some things going for him, like incredible overall speed {foot, hand, body/head}...explosive power, a chin to take risk, bob and weave; timing, combos, and a gameplan of attack (in his prime).

If you attack downstairs, it takes the air out of the fighter. It also lowers the guard of the taller fighter which is then when you attack upstairs and when his guard is raised up to protect his head, you go down stairs...all in combinations. Make the tall fighter come down...breaks his ribs; make him worry about his mid-section and his head will be there. Make his reach go missing because you are inside close to his body like you are sleeping with him (like Tyson said)

the so called "best" are trying to ignore him. its a disgrace. they aren't giving the fans the best fights just to save their own asses.

he's not a "draw" bull**** is a pathetic duck. hbo would pay just as much if not more for a mosley-williams fight rather than a mosley-berto fight.

he's not a "draw" cept he headlines on hbo. he's ranked in the top 10 p4p. his fights are always exciting.

i really wish hbo would force fighters to fight the best. ok mosley you are gonna fight mayweather, cotto, pac, williams or you get no money. simple. but they cave in every time and we get ****** fights.
