Marge was nothing more than a paperchamp that was trying to make a name for himself. Hell, the title he held was a belt won by Cotto in a vacancy match. When his tried to separate himself from the average lot, Shane Mosley got in that ass. You know, Cotto never won a belt that wasn't vacated. Something to think about, especially when it comes to him trying to get inducted in the HOF. Floyd is the last lineal champ at the WW Division. If Floyd beats Andre/Mosley he will again be the lineal champ, officially. The WBC belt is on loaner until whenever Floyd decides to claim whats his. Hopefully, Shane is about to pull off the fight in January. Floyd Mayweather, 8 time champ, 5 divisions.

Man, Williams lost to Quinata and then Margarito won 2 straight and claimed the IBF title. So this dropped Williams and Margarito became #2. THEN Cotto (#1) signed to fight Margarito (#2) and Williams spanked Quinata BUT the Ring kept him at #3 because Tony was on such a roll. Williams did NOT move up yet.....so #1 and #2 fought, Margarito won, but no lineal title was on the line because Ring claimed "Floyd might not be retired"...well then why did the title become vacant? but the fact is a fight between #1 and #3 is ALSO enough to crown a ring champ......anyone remember a few months ago? Wlad Klitschko Vs Ruslan Chagaev? That was #1 vs #3...with Vitali #2?? Who's the ring champ now?? Yeah you guessed it, Wlad. The ring had two chances to crown a new welterweight champ, and failed twice.

If lineal titles are counted like pacs then that would make FM a 8 or 9 time champ. I cant remember if he was lineal at 135.

                    Check what I said again.
So if you don't need a belt to be champ. Then why don't you count Pac lineal claims at 126 and 140?
