You guys have to remember a critical point. That is, that until Mayweather fought Oscar his fights ALWAYS "stunk out the house" with half empty arenas and paying customers leaving before his fights were finished etc.
He fights much the same way today as before, and the drawing power he has depends mainly on his "fishmouth" and the carefully protected "O".
People don't come to see an excellent, skilful fight, they come because of the opponent's drawing power, and the desire to see Mayweather beaten, so that his very disliked persona can be legitimately criticised.
You can keep making stuff up if you like, but dont expect anyone to believe you.Comment

wow delusional mayweather fans here.
how is 1.02M > 1.25M at a lower price range?
mayweather is no longer what he claimed it to be. face the fact. pacquiao is now the face of boxing. he should get the bigger pie.Comment

It just occurred to me that I have been a little harsh in criticizing Bob Arum's arithmetic skills.
The way the announcement read, it didn't actually make the point that there were 110,000 Puerto Rico sales, ON TOP of the Cable and satellite sales.
On a second reading, I now believe that the 110,000 sales were part of the 1.25 mill sales.,Comment

It's impressive in the sense that it's two non-American fighters generating the numbers. 1.25 is more than respectable. And what the hell is the BS coming from Mayweather about having a dance partner. I though he didn't need oneComment
