Forget Pacquiao, Floyd should consider entering politics.

and even so, more interest was shown in mayweather v marquez from third party companies. which more or less reinforces my assertion that mayweather is the bigger draw. he has what pacquiao lacks in the promotional field: a personality, and will thus always garner more interest unless pacquiao goes and beats him or something.
it was the fight of the year. the most lucrative one-night event in the U.S. this year. it made the top 10 of best-selling pay-per-view boxing events off all time, the fourth-best vegas box office crowd. with the recession and all, i say it was a success.

does floyd have the high ground to ask for more than 50%? his stans say he has.

              but those are his stans.

boxing media says pac is a legit box-office hit.

                !
the jmm gpp ppv with casa only did 100k buys ... jmm is my fav fighter but he doesnt have a big drawing power imo ... and i do think cotto has a significantly bigger profile ...

Manny Pacquiao just did 1.25 MILLION with who Floyd said no body knew.
lol exactly. Floyd shoulda fought him but no, he ducked cotto and went straight for JMM. And now he claims JMM is not draw. 90% of the mexicans bought the PPV just to see him.

You should have seen what most expected from Numero Uno, about 400-600K. I expected 600K because the match up wasn't seen as competitive. Instead everyone was surprised by 1.1M. I said Fire Power will do 1.2Mill+ and I made a thread on it, I expected that from the more competitive match up.
