    • Most Mayweather fans are to poor to buy the fight, they just pay the ten bucks at there local fox & hound and not buy any food or drinks. PRs and Pinoy have more pride so they stay home and pay for it.

I agree with this...last week Roach was talkin 65-35 now its LETS do 50/50....lol

Fact is Mayweather is the bigger Draw, he is the American fighter

I think it should be 55/45

        • pbf did 1 million ppv buys with $50 each. So did they calculate pacs buys with $50 or $55?

          • Mayweather on Marquez's drawing power compared to Mosley's with ESPN's Brian Kenny: He got a whole country behind him! A country!

            Mayweather, post-Firepower: I didn't have a dance partner.

Forget Pacquiao, Floyd should consider entering politics.

It wasn't even expected by most here to exceed numero uno before so why do you think it is now?

Also, you did not answer my question if you would say the same thing for Pac if it did 1.6million buys?

both were promoted via the same old hbo blueprint. the differences were in the way that they were billed. cotto v pacquiao was billed as the fight of year, two stars going head to head in a war, the protagonist moving up in weight to conquer his biggest foe yet. mayweather v marquez was more like "the return of mayweather"; marquez was but a subplot.

and even so, more interest was shown in mayweather v marquez from third party companies. which more or less reinforces my assertion that mayweather is the bigger draw. he has what pacquiao lacks in the promotional field: a personality, and will thus always garner more interest unless pacquiao goes and beats him or something.

Say Cotto vs. Pacquiao did 1.6M, 50/50 is legit.
