Home town judging the standard in USA.

It was a shutout. It was in Denmark. Had the judges been danish, how do you think the reaction would been?

I'm just pointing out he fought with the same type of crew before.

After they way Dirrell was screwed by Euro judges I think it's only fair that Ward gets the shady decision in this one.

No way Direll was robbed. Close fight yes. Robbery no. And that fight has nothing to do with this. No comparisons possible since none of the judges was british let alone english.

I agree that Dirrell got robbed but why should Mikkell Kessler have to sufffer because of that if it goes to the scorecards?

Btw, the CSAC has reacted and replaced both Cali judges by 2 others (probably 1 from the US and 1 international).
Though, the referee is still going to be Mr. Reiss...

Well if it's alright for Froch to have strictly European judges who don't have enough experience in World Title fights to do the job then it should be fine for Ward to have American judges with real credentials as long as they aren't from California.

Good deal. I don't see the ref being an issue in this fight as both guys are refined boxers and perfect gentleman.

I had to do the routine because Annie cried about someone else doing it earlier.

I will say though that in 5 years on this forum and having discussed boxing with people from several Euro countries the great majority seem to have a huge chip on their shoulder when it comes to the US. They think it's a country filled with liars and cheats and they applaud out international failures and cheer out losses without even being able to explain why.

As someone who is proudly 50% Hungarian and 50% American I am truly glad that I have been able to enjoy the best of both worlds and understand exactly how pathetic and pointless the xenophobia is.
