With the situation they have now, it just feels like he is being setup.

I thought the WBA had rules against this sort of thing.

Apparently 'world' sanctioning bodies have no jurisdiction over judges in the US. The judges is the responsibilty of the local commision and they don't give a damn about WBA. My point is that the yank system rewards local biasedness since the members of the athletic commision is elected and as such has to ensure local support hence there's an incentive to appoint judges pleasing the local promotor.

You'd figure they learned their lesson, as there were problems with Alexander-Witter in August.

At least CT picked judges from Japan, Mexico, and Canada for Froch-Taylor.

It just smells wrong. If it was even in a more neutral American site I would not worry as much. This seems setup Like Juan Diaz and Pauli in Texas.

                  .

Just be glad it's not in England or the fight would be scored by a fat **** referee and there wouldn't be any judges.

Also, Americans have treated Kessler well in the past.

His fight against Andrade was refereed by an American and 2 of 3 judges were American for that one as well. I don't remember any complaints.

It was a shutout. It was in Denmark. Had the judges been danish, how do you think the reaction would been?
