Advantage for Manny,DLH lowered to 147+ an advantage for Oscar cherry picking a 130 lbs fighter at 147 with only one fight at 135=FAIR CONTRACT.

is it a fact that manny wants advantage hell yeah. what did dlh had to gained by fighting pacquiao if lets say he would of won the fight?? pac didn't have anything to loose but alot to gain example where he is right now. So pac agrreed cuase asuming dlh would at least performed like he did against pbf he would of killed pac and pac didn't care cause he wanted the biggest payday of his entire career thats why he chose the fight but required him to go down to 147 from 154.

If dlh would of ko pac, pac wouldn't have lost anything but gained a big payday thats why he wanted to fight dlh but wanted him the weakest possible roach knew something as he trained dlh to fight pbf why do you think he and pac asked for that weight. not to mention pac put a clause of 1 million per extra pound????

Roach and Pacquiao just want to knock Marquez out for some sort of revenge. Revenge on Marquez for giving Pac all he could handle when they were both in the lower weightclasses, and a nice bit of revenge on Floyd for beating Marquez more convincingly than Manny did.

Bull**** fight. Marquez is not even competitive at anything above 140.

I agree with Brother Nazeem Richardson when he stated that the biggest trick Team Pac has pulled is making us believe he is small. I was at the fight and when Pac walked by, he easily looked to be around 155lbs. Does anybody know Pacs weight on fight night? Another poster made the comment about Cotto always refusing to give his unofficial weight. The reason for that is because Cotto is one of the smaller WW's who competes at the elite level. Cotto being a small WW can't be argued. His refusal to weigh in on fight night is more about keeping a psychological advantage away from his opponents. What I don't understand is how so many contradicting statements made by Roach always go under the radar. Just today in the Steve Kim article he says that Manny is now a full 147 pounder. He also goes on to say that he believes that Cotto had regressed since the Margarito fight. I like Pac, but his career is just as steered and coddled as PBF. The difference being that Manny is more entertaining. He puts on a good show. The boxing media love him and will tout him because the industry needs him. They need a new DLH and it's hard not to be touched by Manny and his boyish charisma. Pac fans will argue that people keep coming up with the same excuses, But from what I see, those same excuses (I'd rather call them advantages) come from Roaches mouth as well. Who here can deny hearing Roach say any of the following: "DLH can't pull the trigger anymore" , "Hatton was never that good" , "Cotto is not the same fighter he used to be, right now is a good time to fight Cotto"? I don't get it. Like I said, I like Manny, but I prefer a fighter like Cotto who fought all the top fighters in his division-no concessions win or lose. People say he looked bad in this fight or that fight, but the bottom line is, it's hard to shine when you're fighting the elite in a proper division.

And for the record, no I'm not Puerto Rican or a Mexican or a Pac hater. I'm just a fan who is tired of all these divisions and catchweight title fights ruining the sport.

I totally agree with you. And why the hell won't Pacman fight at 147/ What's the big deal? The organizations really need to put a stop to this crap or before we know it there will be so many different divisions and sub-divisions and it will be a mess. All this crap started with lame ass Freddy Roach. Theres no respect for the rules and divisions anymore, it's just rediculuos.
