    Far moreso than Miguel Cotto.
Don't get it twisted, it's a huge win, but if Pacquiao and Floyd were to never fight, I have a tough time believing Pacquiao would get slack for that.

As early as last year how many people on here would be calling Pacquiao one of the Welterweight champions let alone TKO'ing Miguel Cotto?

Pacquiao's last couple of years are kinda ****ting on Floyd's last 6 years off GP. That aint a diss towards Floyd either cause Im a fan of the dude's craft, but you simply can't deny what Pac's done in such a short period of time. He takes risks, and that is a big reason why people are attracted to him.

Personally speaking, the number of titles is not important for me. I don't view Oscar as being particularly great because he collected trinkets.

Is oscar greater than Chavez? Or Hagler? Or Hopkins?

Pac is great because I saw what he did. Not because of the numbers game.

You absolutely right. Pac is gr8 cuz of who he faced and beat, and how he did so. The stats on titles are just for detail.

Really? Mayweather and Pac need to be the next Mega fight, nothing tops that. Stop catching feelings.

Can we PLEASE stop calling fighters ***** and punk and coward, etc? it is so disrespectful. Especially coming from guys who would never test themselves against the 'bitches'.

Not really. Mostly everyone thought it was going to be Floyd to pick off Cotto.

He had quite a number of years to do it, but constantly declined and made excuses.

They offered the fight to Manny and he took it and then proceeded to do what Mayweather simply claimed he could do.

Floyd just talked about Cotto as "easy work", the same **** he just said about Manny Pacquiao.

Manny is doing what people thought Floyd would.

Been in the division for one fight, and already he stops Cotto?

If this fight doesn't come off, it won't tarnish Pac a bit.

If this fight doesn't come off, its expected from Floyd and further adds to the stain that is his career at 140 and beyond.

Pac has won lineal titles at Flyweight, Featherweight (Only fighter to win linear in both weight classes) SFW, JWW.

Pac 7 titles Lineal title at 112, IBF at 122, lineal at 126, lineal 130, WBC at 135, lineal at 140, and WBO at 147.

And, BTW this is off topic but the IBO really holds more credibility than the major 4. In a sense that you can hold a major title and still be rated in the IBO rankings. While the 4 major titles would not put you in there rankings if you hold a title, which really makes no sense. And, the other major 4 titles have interim, super, emiritus, champions in rescess, super, diamond, regular, super duper, my daddy can beat your daddy champions as major championships.

Nobody is asking for Pac/Mosley. There's a reason for that.

In my opinion, the people who are asking to see any fight other than Pac/may are not driven by a love of the sport, but rather by a hate for Floyd.
