Very much disagree because Manny has already superseded what was expected of him. Floyd has been calling himself the greatest fighter of all time and he has failed to sign the fights the public and the critics wanted to see.

If Manny was to retire today, his legacy would be intact and there would be nothing you could say negative about him. You can't say the same about Floyd though.

If he retired today history would say he avoided Floyd especially if Floyd beats say Mosley and say somebody like Williams , Manny retire off Cotto , come on what an anti climax , Cotto is not anywhere near the stature of Floyd , as for legacy they both need each other to sign off

Nobody is asking for Pac/Mosley. There's a reason for that.

In my opinion, the people who are asking to see any fight other than Pac/may are not driven by a love of the sport, but rather by a hate for Floyd.

People wanted to see Cotto Floyd.
People wanted to see Shane Floyd.
People wanted to see Margarito Floyd.

Why don't they want to see their guy go in and make some money for easy work?

Pac 7 titles Lineal title at 112, IBF at 122, lineal at 126, lineal 130, WBC at 135, lineal at 140, and WBO at 147.

And, BTW this is off topic but the IBO really holds more credibility than the major 4. In a sense that you can hold a major title and still be rated in the IBO rankings. While the 4 major titles would not put you in there rankings if you hold a title, which really makes no sense. And, the other major 4 titles have interim, super, emiritus, champions in rescess, super, diamond, regular, super duper, my daddy can beat your daddy champions as major championships.

All that title stuff is meaningless to me anyway.
